Make your walk down the aisle a little more memorable with special aisle decorations that represent you!
Indoor
- Church Pews
- Pew flowers made into a pomander ball and hung from the pew can make a simple, yet attractive, addition to the aisle decoration. We showcased ours at the Carolina Bridal Show, displaying different ways to use a flower pomander ball – as an aisle decoration, as a table centerpiece, or also to hang on the backs of chairs to spruce them up a bit. Move them to the reception site after the ceremony!
- Let your guests help decorate your aisle when they arrive! Give guests cones filled with rose petals to sprinkle as they make their way to their seats. They will always remember their special involvement in your wedding!
- Simple, yet beautiful, wreaths represent the circle of unity that you are celebrating with your marriage vows. Consider hanging wreaths by ribbon of your chosen color over the end of the pew – very simple, and can be made well in advance!
- Did you know you can order personalized aisle runners? Personalize your aisle runner with your names or initials for an everlasting display of your love. Trim the edges with loose rose petals in your chosen colors and see how dramatic your entrance will be!
Outdoor
- Make your pathway to the altar an interesting one by curving the aisle around landscaping features! Who says you have to walk down a straight aisle? The photographer will delight in the creative photo ops!
- If you plan to wed outdoors, try perusing the landscape for a natural alternative to an altar. A nice, large tree, a large rock, or water landscape can make a stunning focal point and backdrop for your vows. Try hanging crystals on a string from tree branches or orchid leis for a natural, yet dramatic, look. Even one long swatch of white tulle draped over two large tree branches can beautify and frame an altar space. Let your imagination flow!
- For a very casual, almost “rustic chic” look, try hanging mason jars from the aisle chairs with ribbon and fill with daisies and wildflowers. Very cute, very simple! Your guests will love it! Re-use as table centerpieces at your reception site!
- There’s nothing quite like an outdoor ceremony to exchange your marriage vows! Keep it simple with lanterns hung on shepherd’s hooks. A candle of your choice completes the look, then simply decorate with flowers of your choice or ribbons for a charming look.
